The Sanctuary is famous for its yoga program and has many returning Yogis every year.
Classes are held twice daily in their beautiful ZORBA hall.
A free sharing is held daily at 5.45. If you meditate and would like to share chat with The Sanctuary, they would love to facilitate your sharing.
Either take on the challenge of the jungle walk to Haad Rin town (approximately 2 hours), or perhaps enjoy to explore the river bed and its waterfalls as it meanders its way up the hillside. There are also walks to other bays on the east coast.
This is a place where some go the first day and others have taken years to discover its beauty. A short 15 min walk to the top of the headlands reveals a stunning view right up the east coast and to Koh Samui. Getting there for sunrise is a pilgrimage well worth the effort
The bay has some stunning coral and a leisurely snorkel will reveal a lot of underwater beauty.
Traditional Thai Longtail boat trips can be arranges with any of the family boatmen. Cruise the east coast in a long tail boat; enjoy waterfalls, stunning coral and deserted beaches.
Ang Thong Marine National Park is also a feature of this unique area - trips to this marine reserve can also be orgainised from Haad Tien. This is an amazing day out where you can snorkel in totally untouched coral gardens, picnic on empty beaches and explore the EMERALD LAKE - inspiration for the book The Beach.
Sea kayaks can be rented on the bay and offer a beautiful and healthy way to explore the east coast of Koh Pha Ngan. Bring a packed lunch and visit deserted beaches and snorkel - truly beautiful.
