Children At The Sanctuary

Hi and thanks for your interest in The Sanctuary.

While we try to cater for all we are an adults orientated resort. Most people at The Sanctuary are adults on a personal healing / health program. We try to create an environment that is peaceful and chilled for all.

Many of us do have children and they are welcomed here, we simply need the parents to be aware of the peace of our other guests and to take appropriate action if their children are disturbing the ambiance of the environment they are in, such as the communal areas, restaurant and therapy areas.

We feel that night time is time for adults in the restaurant and prefer children not around the bar after dark when others are socially talking and drinking.

We ask that you please be aware of others who do not have children and keep your children under parental control.

It should also be noted that we do not offer special child support menu / services.

The opening of our new air con Sanctuary Gardens rooms offer more child-friendly accommodation in a flat garden area.

Detox & Fasting Rooms

The Wellness & Detox Center has created specially designed rooms* for Detox and Colonics. We now have 6 room types (including Sanctuary Gardens): Thai style with fans, Villa air-con rooms, Deluxe air-con rooms and deluxe fasters dorms. If not in use for Detox these rooms can be rented locally.
*Note: all of our detox rooms are subsidized for fasters.

Thai-Style Rooms

There are 6 spacious Thai style stilt bungalows, designed with the faster in mind, They have French doors on to a lovely balcony with a relaxing hammock waiting to welcome you. 24 Hour Electricity. Private bathroom for colonics with cold water shower

These are normally 1,600 B per night but are subsidized to 1,150 B per night for fasters.

Villa Air-con Rooms

Our ever popular Villa style rooms. These are rooms with private amenities. They are split level with comfy lounge and DVD & Air Con and 24 hour electricity & Hot Shower. They share a central courtyard, ideal for quiet relaxation.

These are normally 1,950 B per night but are subsidized to 1,700 B per night for fasters

Deluxe Air-con Rooms

The Best rooms at our Detox Center are our Deluxe Air-con fasting rooms. Spaceous rooms with nice balcony, bathroom with hot shower (for colonics also), and TV for DVD. 24 hour electricity.

Normally 2,700 B per night but subsidized for fasters to 2,350 B.

Super Deluxe Room

Our lovely new room is great for friends or family with its king size & single bed. With air-con, satellite TV , hot water shower & comfortable sofa, this spacious room is perfect for friends to share. This lovely room is 3,000 B per room per night

Ladies only Deluxe fasters dorms

These 2 x 6 bedded rooms offer comfortable, stylish bedding and privacy with our tasteful secure storage partitions in air-con comfort with hot water showers. These rooms are designed with the needs of the faster in mind and offer a mid-range price addition for our fasters. This room is reserved for ladies only

These beds cost 650 B each per night.

Garden Room Suites

These rooms are very spacious with a king size bed set in the main air conditioned room. Sliding doors open onto the large garden view balcony. Taste-fully furnished and comfortable. This room is suitable for fasters. Satellite TV.

2009 Room Rate is 3,300 B per night.

Garden Room Deluxe Suites

These rooms have an air conditioned main bed room. In addition it has a big lounge room, tastefully furnished. Furnishings include a convertible sofa bed so your friends can come and stay also. Sliding doors open on to the big balcony. Hot water shower in the spacious bathroom . This room is suitable for fasters. These rooms are comfortable for 4 people sharing. Satellite TV.

2009 room rate is 4,000 B per night.

In addition to these rooms we also have 2 private roof top Studios. These are simpler en-suite rooms, fan cooled with their own balcony. These rooms would be a great additional room for a group of friends to stay close together. These can only booked as an extra for the rooms below.

2009 room rate is 1,400 B per night.

At the Sanctuary we recommend that you stay at least 2 days before and after your cleanse to maximise the benefits of your efforts.
