Meditation

The bay of Had Tien is well suited to exploration of various meditative practices.  It is easy to find a quiet space to be alone, and local residents are accustomed to hearing all kinds of noises made during expressive and dynamic forms of meditation!

Free Meditation Classes Daily

We are pleased to offer free meditation classes in our Buddha Hall, every evening from 6 until 7pm except Saturdays.  The meditation class conveniently follows the afternoon yoga class.  Each night we offer varying meditation techniques, led by members of our team.  It does not matter if you have never tried meditation before, everyone is welcome!

Passive meditation – Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday

These are soft yin meditations, sitting or lying down and entering a peaceful state within.  They may include chanting, humming, sounding, breath awareness, visualisation, gazing or listening. They are deeply relaxing and easy to do!

Active meditation – Monday, Wednesday and Friday

These are dynamic yang mediations involving a form of movement, however they all aim to eventually move us toward a place of stillness by releasing stress and thoughts.   They may include dancing, shaking, whirling, speaking, yelling or laughing!

From time to time, visiting teachers will offer separate meditation classes or retreats.  Further details willl be posted here in advance.

Life Experiences

“The most individual Resort I have visited. The alternativeness and healing are complimented by the natural environment, the resorts construction and the understanding of the staff - Aaahhh true peace at last.”
