Our week begins every Sunday at 3pm with The Gathering at the Tea Temple.  At this event you can discover what the following week will bring. You can meet our healers and teachers, ask questions, sign up for events and be involved in free demonstrations.

Monday to Friday sees a variety of classes, workshops and events. Classes last around 1 and a half hours. Workshops may be a few hours, a whole day or even a few days long. We also have Tea Temple events, such as kirtan chanting, conscious cinema (discourses and spiritual documentaries) and talks. The Tea Temple is also open between Sunday and Friday for teas, shakes, snacks and our new age and health shop.  Between 1 and 3 pm, the Tea Temple serves a simple yet delicious Japanese-inspired lunch menu, including Nori rolls with brown rice, Miso soup and healthy salad.

Regular events and classes that we are hosting during May 2013 include:

  • Weekly Astrology Weather Report – Free talk
  • Introduction to Ayurveda – Free class
  • Holistic Health and Spirituality – Free talk
  • Magic Mala Making – Learn to create your own mala necklace and learn about chanting meditation
  • The Freedom Process using Emotional Freedom Technique
  • Empower, Transform and Manifest – Learn self-hypnosis and NLP

Regular Free Weekly Events

Tuesday Movie under the Stars

Lay back and relax on the beach underneath the starry sky and enjoy a movie from our eclectic collection, every Tuesday night at 8:30pm.  Movies are screened in the restaurant during wet weather!

Thursday Open Mic Night

From singing, guitar, poetry and comedy to raincoat fashion parades, dijeridoo and belly dancing; we’ve nearly seen it all at our very popular Open Mic night.  It happens every Thursday night at the Sanctuary restaurant.  Whether you are on stage or in the audience, it is always an entertaining evening.. our talented Thai staff often join in the fun!

The Gathering  -  3pm every Sunday

Join us at the Tea Temple every Sunday at 3pm for the opportunity to meet our healers…  learn about the natural therapies on offer, ask questions and participate in demonstrations.  It is also the perfect chance to meet other guests and find out about upcoming workshops, events and classes!  During the School of Life, workshop teachers will present talks and demonstrations at the Gathering, before their workshop begins on Monday.

Get outdoors!

Haad Tien Bay

Hiking

Either take on the challenge of the jungle walk to Had Rin town (approximately 2 hours) or perhaps explore the riverbed and the waterfalls as the trail meanders its way up the hillside. There are also walks to other bays further north on the east coast.

The viewpoint is a beautiful place that some people find on their first day here, yet others take years to discover! A short 15 minute walk to the top of the headlands reveals a stunning view up the coast and of neighbouring island Koh Samui. Getting there for sunrise is a pilgrimage well worth the effort.

Boat Trips

Traditional Thai long-tail boat trips can be arranged with any of the family boatmen. Cruise the east coast in a long-tail boat and enjoy waterfalls, stunning coral and deserted beaches.

Sea Kayaking

We offer sea kayaks for rent as an adventurous and healthy way to explore the beautiful east coast of Koh Phangan. Take a packed lunch, visit deserted beaches and practice your snorkelling!

Ang Thong Marine National Park

Located west of Koh Phangan, a speedboat day trip to the marine reserve can be organised for you. This is an amazing day out where you can snorkel in totally untouched coral gardens, picnic on empty beaches and explore the Emerald Lake.

Life Experiences

“"A real special place, one of the most beautiful positions and nicest places in Southern Thailand. The architecture shows that they (owners/management) are conscious of a special way of life. The only things you won't find there are roads, discos and stress. The food is good, big choice and good prices."”
