About the Event:
A 100 H YTTC, created by Janine Behrendt to take you deeper into the experience of Yoga, as well as offering teachers to refine their teaching skills and take their teachings to the next level.This course offers an opportunity to explore practices, which go beyond Yoga Asana. You can expect to experience Yoga on all levels – with a non-conventional timeless approach whilst still maintaining the tradition.
This course aims to bring across the diversity of practices, which can lead to a state of Union (Yoga). There is not just one truth – there is never just one way of practice. Nothing is purely Yin or Yang – one can’t exist without the other. During our course, we want to encourage practitioners and teachers to think outside the box. Combining and integrating different aspects and approaches in order to create harmony and balance. Integrating new tools, allowing creative energy to flow, without losing the tradition.

1. Advanced Alignment & Biomechanics Of The Body (20H)
Drawn from the wisdom of traditional Hatha and Iyengar Yoga, we will explore advanced alignment in posture through the comprehension of the biomechanics of the body and the purpose of specific Asana groups and their effect on the body-mind system. This exploration will allow you to deepen your own practice and up-skill your teachings on the physical practice to an integrated holistic level, enhancing your ability to guide students towards a deeper understanding of their practice and their connection to the natural world.
2. The Art Of Touch & Hands On Assists (20H)
Inspired by the renowned Jivamukti Yoga method, we will share with you the art of skillfully adjusting and assisting the practice in a way that enables your students to experience a deeper state of Yoga—both physically and energetically. You'll gain the ability to read and assist energy lines effortlessly, all while maintaining a safe and nurturing space. This skill will not only deepen your own practice but also enhance your effectiveness as a teacher, creating profound connections with your students.
3. Prana Flow Awakening Tools & Intuitive Sequencing (20H)
Explore a set of intermediate to advanced Prana Flow Tools that will increase and exhilarate the flow of prana within you and your students. Drawing inspiration from the Kundalini Yoga method, we'll delve into elements of Kriya Yoga, which beautifully complement any yoga practice and elevate the energetic frequency of your classes. You'll learn how to intuitively choose and seamlessly incorporate these tools into your teaching, creating an authentic and transformative experience for your students.
4. Integrated Teaching/ Art Of Teaching (20H)
Learn to create an experience of Yoga! Yoga is much more than just the physical practice of posture. Although Asana is an important tool which serves as a gateway practice to Yoga in the modern world, as a Yoga teacher it should be our priority to teach/share Yoga on an integrated level! Learn to conduct Dharma talks to evoke a thought process during your classes and seamlessly integrate the teachings of scripture into your classes. Learn how to integrate all aspects of Yoga into your teachings, whilst still remaining true to yourself.
5. Somatics & Embodiment Practice/ 5 Elements (20H)
Sense, feel, and heal through restoring and nourishing practices and teachings. This segment provides an opportunity to connect with your innermost nature while allowing your nervous system to restore to optimal health and well-being. Learn how to develop inner listening to the body's intelligence through somatic tools, including, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, dance elements and other embodiment practices, based on the expression of the five elements that make up nature. Through your own experience, you will be able to share this healing experience with your own students.

Lead teacher/ course founder: Janine Behrendt
Janine is the founder of Tulaflowyoga—an embodiment of her passion for Yoga and her devotion to holistic living. She is a dedicated student and teacher, a nature enthusiast, a dancer, and a devoted Yogini. She loves to create and hold powerful spaces, where people can connect with themselves on a deeper level, as well as with the world around them. She lives by the Japanese concept called “Ikigai” and considers herself a wild child of this universe.
With over a decade of experience, Janine’s journey into Yoga and holistic living commenced in 2008. She sees herself primarily as a student of Yoga & life itself. Her love for integrated practices has led her down this beautiful life-path. Currently residing on a tropical island in Thailand, where she lives her best life, creating a colorful world! She is an advocate of non-dogmatic teachings, specializing in Yogic anatomy and embracing various styles, including Jivamukti, Somatics, Hatha/Iyengar and Yin. Her belief in the uniqueness of every individual’s body and the importance of balance between Yin and Yang manifest in her teachings.
Co-teacher: Hayley Nariyah
Hayley Nariyah is an internationally certified Yoga, Qi Gong and Pilates teacher, a gifted energy healer and qualified bodyworker with over 1,100 hours in qualifications and registered trainings. Mainly schooled in Asia, she brings the traditional ancient lineages to relatable modern day practices.
Nariyah is highly experienced in holistic yoga, working with yoga as therapy. She has students from wide ranges of multicultural backgrounds who all benefit from her classes and retreats, designing wellness/yoga programmes for world renowned health and detox resorts, to holding her students through solo and co-created retreats and trainings.
Her Universal teachings are wildly popular in person and online, pulling on her knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), fundamental yogic philosophy and specific alignment based anatomy.

She is a powerful and soulful teacher who knows precisely how to hold space for her students, elegantly weaving teachings and wisdom with compassion and humour, making her classes accessible to all.

Bipin was born and raised in Rishikesh, India, a place renowned for its deep Yoga traditions. Driven by a profound passion for Yoga, Bipin has earned multiple certifications in various Yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and more. With a commitment to sharing the transformative power of Yoga, he offers a rich and diverse approach to teaching, aiming to inspire and guide practitioners and instructors at all levels.
