The twin pillars of the Indian Healing systems were Ayurveda and Yoga that originated in the Ancient Indian Vedic texts.

They share many common beliefs and practices that were exchanged over thousands of years of evolution, so that each one complements the other.

Anahata Yoga Therapy consists of Yoga practices that were created and have existed in Assam, North-East India, which focused on the philosophy of the Pancha Koshas (the five sheaths of human existence).
