About the Retreat:
Who is really running your show – the healthy adult self or the wounded inner child?
Re-Parenting the Inner Child is a two-and-a-half-day intensive program led by Trauma Recovery Specialist, Gemini Adams, CF, E-RYT, STR, C-TREP, who has over 25 years of experience delivering effective treatments for those who grew up with emotional neglect, abandonment, or abuse, making ‘survival mode’ the norm.
Within a compassionate container, we explore the triggers for relational stress responses using somatic-self care and attachment repair techniques to Develop Emotional and Relational Well-being (DREW). Through parts work, we meet the wounded inner child whose anger alienation, or dissociation is still hijacking us, learning ways to manage these emotional floods, together with practical skills to support conflict confidence, assert better boundaries, and stand up for our needs with an authentic voice.

Practitioners´ Bio:
British Trauma Recovery Specialist, educator, and award-winning author, Gemini Adams, CF, C-TREP, STR, E-RYT, has over 25 years of experience in the fields of social change, mental healthcare, and wellness, working and volunteering with international charities, NGO’s, governments, the Center of Relational Healing and < UNION > Institute.
She is passionate about helping individuals recover from the painful legacy of childhood and relational trauma — emotional and relational neglect, abandonment, bullying, shaming, betrayal, and all forms of abuse — to safely treat the invisible disability that is C-PTSD.
Drawing on decades of trauma-informed education, personal development, and certifications in somatic therapies, Gemini has joyfully transformed countless lives, both in the clinical setting, her private practice, and in the 100’s programs she’s led around the globe — helping individuals and families to heal the fractured parts that are causing self-destructive patterns and toxic behavior’s, bringing resolution to the painful events of the past.

We commence at 3 pm in Zen Hall on Tuesday 25th March and finish at 6 pm on Thursday 27th.
You will need only bring some light yoga clothes, a water bottle, a notebook, and a pen.
Please note, that meals and accommodation are not included, but are plentiful, either at the Sanctuary or in surrounding areas.
